Second, Mr. di Bonaventura wanted to position Batman Adult vs. Superman' as a clash of two old superheroes - sure to attract fans of the earlier films - before reinventing the characters. Josh Hartnett is attatched to this project. And this would be consistat to what BOF has been hearing since last summer. While trying to escape, the Batman corners Napier and through accident and fate, Napier falls into a vat of acid and the Joker is born! Now, I am sure that you all have heard the reports that the JJ Abrams scripted SUPERMAN film is looking more and more like it is happening. Keaton's about to sign for a multi picture deal at Warner, and the Batman Adult film is one film he's being courted for. I didn't then and I don't now. There were two very familiar villains, one being the surprise mastermind behind it all, [trying] to get Batman and Superman to go after each other. Here are a few things other sites are saying about Chris Nolan and his recent attatchment to a Bat-project at WB. The scene where Bonk is gassed by the Joker is longer and has been altered. Variety states that the impact of Nolan's Batman XXX project on the other Bat-movies is unclear. To kick things off this September, WB will air a new animated movie in which Batman and Superman will take on Lex Luthor and the Joker. |
